Runes have been used for centuries as an alphabet and a way to find inspiration or luck in times of need. The term Rune means secret or whisper. Use these Rune Cards as a way to understand a situation and draw from your inner voice. The original artwork in this app was created 20 years ago as mono-prints. Each card has a doorway that represents looking in or out at your situation. Contemplate on what you see in the image before reading the description.

HOW TO USE RUNE CARDS

Runes are meant to be done for you and by you and not as a way to read or interpret for someone else. It is a great way to get in touch with your inner intuition and understand situations in your life.

With the app open take a moment to do a simple prayer, ritual or invocation. You can say quietly: “Runes, whisper the correct advice.” When you are ready, tap the deck and your Rune will be revealed to you. Contemplate the image and then swipe to view the explanation. Trust your intuition with what meaning speaks to you most. When you are done finish with a gratitude prayer.

Some Runes have two ways for interpretation - Upright and Reversed. Only symbols that look different reversed will have an alternate explanation.

Two ways to read Runes
1. Pull a Rune to focus on, or to get a sense of what’s in store for the day.
2. Define 3 things you want to focus on like past, present and future. Pull 3 Runes reading them right to left.

All of the Runes you draw are kept in the history so you can easily go back and reference any of the cards later to further contemplate or watch for trends. There is no limit to the number or Runes you can draw per day but we recommend you draw no more than 3.
